o Q1: You've been stranded on a desert island with only one standard-size travel suitcase. If you could only have 3 items in that suitcase, what would you want those items to be and why?Only three, huh? Hm… Cooking pot and a bag of rice for the first two so I can at least make sure I have something to eat no matter what, (And I can probably find some way to use the pot to get fresh water out of saltwater, I think Ami mentioned something like that once). And then… maybe a saw, so I can cut trees and stuff make logs and ropes and stuff for shelter and a raft? I’m strong but not enough to uproot a whole tree… at least not easily…
o Q2: Tell us about a defining event in your life that you think influenced who you are today.
Meeting Usagi. Not only was she the first friend I made at a new school where *everyone* was freaking out about my height, treated me like she didn't even care how I looked and introduced me to people like she knew me or years (which... I guess kind of true, not that we knew at the time), but she and the others came to my rescue when that ghost bride attacked... And when my powers awakened, and they comforted me after I was upset about getting rejected by Sempai and Nephrite tricking me... it was like home. I finally found home, and my family. And I want to do everything I can to protect them and keep them safe too, and the rest of the world.
o Q3: What does family mean to you and who do you consider a part of your family?
Family are the people who love you… the ones who make you feel valued and like you belong, that make you feel safe. And for who? Easy: Usagi and the rest of the senshi, the cats, and Mamoru. But of course we’ve got people included in our circle too, like Motoki and Una, and definitely Asanuma.
o Q4: Tell me about a time you were involved in a personal conflict (not a physical fight). What would you do differently to resolve it?
*Not* a physical fight? … Okay gimme a sec because it’s… hard to think of a conflict that doesn’t involve actually fighting someone, like an enemy. Or suspecting someone of being an enemy. Or getting trapped by an enemy. Or that time the Outers were gonna kill Hotaru to prevent Sailor Saturn from coming back because that was more like them vs Sailor Moon.
And *outside* of senshi stuff, I’m not that big on conflict. I mean… there was the time that Ami was really on my case about me procrastinating about studying for entrance exams, but she was right… and scary, REALLY scary, I caved pretty quickly whenever she called me out. If I could do anything different, I’d try to calm myself down more so I could focus, remember that my friends believe in me.There’s also WAY back with the sempai situation. I haven’t told many people this, even the girls, but… there was another girl friend of mine who liked him too. In the end I confessed, but he chose her. I mean transferring to a whole new school is a *big* overreaction, I know that now… but if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have met Usagi or found my calling either.
o Q5: Do you have any regrets? If so, what are the biggest ones? If not, what is something you wish you had gotten to do back home?Not always… sometimes I wish that I’d handled the situation with sempai differently, or that he liked me back, but like I said, I wouldn’t want to change how things did turn out.
As for stuff back home… well, there’s nothing stopping me from protecting people or running a flower shop or bakery here, right? (Or getting a boyfriend, but shh…)
